Sorry for not blogging such a long time.
This will be short but I will try to post more often from now.
I am STILL reading "Reason for God" by Timothy Keller and found this great quote which I really wanted to share with everyone.
This quote is in the chapter called "We can't trust the Bible Historically" in which pastor Keller talks about how we can find the credibility of the Bible.
There he quotes one historian's comment
(Dan Brown says) that the Emperor Constantine imposed a whole new interpretation on Christianity at the Council of Nicea in 325. That is, he decreed the belief in Jesus' divinity and suppressed all evidence of his humanity. This would mean Christianity won the religious competition in the Roman Empire by an exercise of power rather than by any attraction it exerted. In actual historical fact, the Church had won that competition long before that time, before it had any power, when it was still under sporadic persecution. If a historian were cynical, you would say Constantine chose Christianity because it had already won and he wanted to back a winner.Yes!! Christ does not need political, academic or any human power back-ups.
He already overcome the grave and given us His victory!!
We are more than conqueror!!!
Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
